Hello!

Welcome to the party!
My creative work includes acting, voiceover, writing and producing a web series, a one-women show, sketch comedy, short stories, long stories, and more. Writing and starring in my web series "Corporate" was once of my favorite projects. It has been featured in several festivals and at the 2015 LA Web Fest, I was awarded "Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series." As a writer, my most recently published piece is a monologue in the Men's Comedic Monologues That Are Actually Funny (The Applause Acting Series), edited by Alisha Gaddis.
My projects have been featured in the LA Web Festival, the Northeast Asia KWebFest, the Austin Out Of Bounds Comedy Festival, the LA Scripted Comedy Festival, and on the Comedy Central Stage at The Hudson Theatre. Yes, I have completed a NaNoWriMo and written 50,000 words in November. I have even had a dating story published in Marie Claire.
My formal education includes a double major Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Denison University in Granville, OH.
After school, I moved to Chicago to study improv and sketch comedy. After a few years I had to escape the winters - so I headed west to Los Angeles. I have performed at the iO Theater, UCB, The Comedy Central Stage at The Hudson, ComedySportz, Donny’s Skybox at The Second City, Laugh Out Loud, and The Playground Theater. I have studied comedy and writing at The Groundlings, UCB, iO, The Second City, and The Writing Pad.
My hobbies include hiking, Feng Shui’ing my apartment, and reading (everything from business theory to trashy celebrity autobiographies).
xoxo
