As a creative person, you tell stories. It's time to take a look at the stories you've been telling yourself. Is there something that has been holding you back? Take a moment to examine that story.
First, write out or think about the current version. What's been holding you down and drowning you in a sea of regret? Did you take bad advice or get yourself into trouble? Did someone give you a bad review and stop you from moving forward?
Now, write out some positive things that happened because of that.
Did it send you in a new direction? Write about the characters you encountered. What did you learn? Perhaps you learned what it's like to get arrested. ;)
Now re-write that story, and re-frame it so that you're the hero! How did those setbacks and challenges lead you to today? Can you find a way to triumphantly end up right where you are supposed to be?
